Groups in London

Anarchist Communist Group – A revolutionary anarchist communist organisation made up of local groups and individuals who seek a complete transformation of society, and the creation of anarchist communism.

Hackney Anarchists – A group in Hackney doing community work, direct action and solidarity with local groups.

Solidarity Federation – A revolutionary union initiative that believes that the state and capitalism must be replaced with a system of bottom up popular control over society.

Spaces in London

56a Infoshop – 56 Crampton Sreet, Walworth, London SE17 3AE. A long-term volunteer-run, 100% unfunded, DIY social centre. Open: 2-8pm Thursday, 3-7pm Friday, and 2-6pm Saturday.

Freedom Bookshop – Angel Alley, 84b Whitechapel High Street, Whitechapel, London E1 7QX. An independent, radical co-op controlled by its volunteers, Freedom runs Britain’s oldest anarchist press and its largest bookshop. Open 12-6pm Monday to Saturday, and 12-4pm on Sunday.

London Action Resource Centre (LARC) – 62 Fieldgate Street, Whitechapel, London E1 1ES. A collectively run building providing space and resources for people and groups working on self-organised, non-hierarchical projects for radical social change. You can contact LARC at larc@riseup.net.

Anarchist Library – A massive online archive of anarchist texts, available in a browser version along with various other formats, like PDFs, plain text, HTML, EPUB, and XeLaTeX.

Libcom – Contains news and analysis of workers’ struggles, discussions and a constantly growing archive of over 20,000 articles contributed by our 10,000+ users ranging from history and biographies to theoretical texts, complete books and pamphlets.

Radar – Radar is an event site for groups that are challenging the status-quo: DIY, anti-capitalist, intersectional, autonomous, non-hierarchical, anti-fasist, anti-racist, queer-positive, and squatting.
